Finite element analysis

Finite element analysis (FEA) is a method of using mathematical approximation to simulate the real physical system (geometry and loading conditions), using simple and interacting elements, namely finite unit to react the infinite unknowns. Getai applies FEA for some power plants, especially high head Pelton runner, based on various working condition under stress and displacement to carry out the simulation analysis for a reasonable solution of the weak area to improve the runner strength and performance, prolong the service life. Through FEA we can effectively prevent bucket break up and crack, ensure a safe and stable power plant operation.
